NHF Responds to COVID-19

The National Hemophilia Foundation has provided information, resources and advocacy efforts to help members of the bleeding disorders community get through the pandemic

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, the National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) has sought to provide the bleeding disorders community with the knowledge it needs to stay as safe and healthy as possible.

In March, NHF President and CEO Leonard Valentino, MD, began a series of Health and Wellness Update emails containing vetted, trusted news and information important to the community. Alongside these emails, NHF’s COVID-19 Town Hall webinars have presented expert discussions on such practical topics as telehealth, staying active, and stress and anxiety.

NHF has also been involved in advocacy issues, including paid leave for families, increased health insurance protections and the need for adequate safeguards so that plasma donation can continue. Accurate, reliable information is as critical as ever. Stay up to date at the following websites:
